image
The restaurant is located in the World Expo Culture Park, a new scenic spot in Modu, hidden in the original Luxembourg Pavilion. The restaurant has a superior geographical location, adjacent to the Huangpu River and overlooking the riverside green space of Xuhui. Spring, summer, autumn and winter can be played here。
The secret low-key entrance design seems to arouse people’s curiosity, create a sense of space mystery for the restaurant, let customers enter the restaurant with the psychology of exploration, temporarily bid farewell to the prosperity and noise of the city, calm down slowly experience the simple and quiet food place. The corner design creates a space experience of “narrow at the beginning, but suddenly enlightened at the corner”. It is committed to building an “Xanadu” in the bustling city, so that people can relieve the tense state and recover the “relaxed” soul.

In the space design, the minimalist style is integrated, and the whole is built with light and lines, which is clean, beautiful and elegant, making the home an extremely comfortable place.

Pleated curtains are used to introduce soft natural light into the space, creating highly layered light and shadow effects, presenting a simple, natural and quiet space temperament to add light and shadow and texture to the food, providing warmth and healing for the body and mind.

The design of the hall seating follows the space order, providing each customer with the best viewing vision and dining experience, while ensuring privacy and security. The viewing platform uses the art of resin and wood combination art, reshaping the natural landscape in the space, providing multiple experience for dining, so that the natural elements are fully integrated into our space life, awakening people’s natural consciousness.

The space cleverly uses the light and shadow effect generated by the natural light shining on the wall to create the dynamic beauty in the natural environment, narrowing the distance between people and nature, so that the space is no longer a static, cold carrier of life.

Moss and gravel are just right between the stone steps, so that the space filled with a sense of tranquility and beauty, dark yellow floor lights guide guests slowly into the Zen space.

The ceiling retains the original beam and column structure, which echoes the ground. The bulky chandelier is replaced by small spot lights and hidden lamp belts, highlighting the simple texture of the space material, creating multiple light and shadow effects, and avoiding the top-heavy visual experience of the space

The irregular window design frames different wind scenes into the picture, calling for people to return their eyes to nature instead of virtual electronic products. The interior shape of the space is “grotesque”, and each corner has a unique shape, which makes people’s eyes bright, constantly find surprises, and narrow the interaction and distance between people and the environment from the space experience.

Such a design seems to let people outside the bustling, find a secret place. The natural sense created by plain and warm soil and wood is probably close to the essence of beauty. After modern refinement, such decorative materials and elements are reflected in every corner, supplemented by more elegant colors. They are clustered among the trees and bamboo forests as far as possible, so as to reach the natural appearance without disturbing.

Each private room has been given a name, symbolizing the flavor and connotation of the space. The private room uses wood veneer as the wall material, the appearance is more harmonious and simple, but also can isolate the noise, to create a comfortable and quiet dining environment for customers.

Japanese dry landscape is introduced to one side of the room, creating a realm of one flower and one world, one wood and one floating life, as if watching a miniature nature. White sand, stone, moss, green plants, seemingly simple under the arrangement, each natural thing has a deep Zen. Simple Oriental tone, echoing the modern spirit of freedom, wabi-sabi beauty into this situation.

Three elements of “wood, stone and green plants” are used in the space, and wood is used as the space material, echoing the Japanese minimalist style. With stone as space ornament, provide natural texture and sense of hierarchy for space. To add natural atmosphere with green plants, let people feel like being in the world of peach blossom.
